Photo Cleaner ("we", "our", or "the App") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our iOS application.
We designed Photo Cleaner with a privacy-first approach. All photo processing happens locally on your device. We do not upload photos to cloud servers or sell your data to third parties.

📷 Photo Metadata
What We Access: Photo Cleaner accesses your photo library (with your permission via iOS Photos permission) to analyze photos locally on your device.
What We Process:
- Photo file size, resolution, creation date (metadata only)
- Image fingerprint for similarity detection
- Sharpness score for blur detection
What We Do NOT Collect:
- Actual photo files or image content
- Facial recognition data
- Location EXIF data (we ignore geotags)
💳 Purchase Information
Purpose: If you subscribe to Photo Cleaner Premium, we validate your subscription status through Apple's StoreKit.
What We Process:
- Purchase transaction details
- Purchase date and expiry date
- Subscription type (monthly/yearly/lifetime)
🔑 Device Identifier
Purpose: We generate a random device ID to track your daily deletion quota (free tier: 50 photos/day).
Storage: Encrypted, stored locally only on your device.
Retention: Until app is uninstalled.
Local Only Encrypted📈 Analytics
We do NOT currently collect any analytics. If we add analytics in the future, we will:
- Update this Privacy Policy
- Notify you via app update notes
- Provide opt-out mechanism
⚙️ How We Use Your Information
Photo Cleaning
Analyze photos locally to detect duplicates, similar images, blurred photos, and large files. All processing happens on your device.
Subscription Validation
Verify your Premium subscription status through Apple to unlock unlimited deletions and advanced features.
Quota Tracking
Track daily deletion limit (50 photos/day for free users) locally on your device to manage usage.

Right to Access
View your subscription status and quota in app Settings → Subscription & Quota.
Right to Delete
All app data is local. Uninstall the app to delete all data. Long press app icon → Delete App.
Right to Opt-Out
We do not track you. No analytics, no advertising, no cross-app tracking.

👶 Children's Privacy
Photo Cleaner is rated 4+ and does not collect personal information from children under 13. We do not use analytics or advertising targeted at children.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices. When we make changes:
- Update the "Last updated" date at the top
- Notify you via app update notes
- Post the updated policy at this URL
Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
